Women

At First Methodist Mansfield, we want women to encounter God in a real way, learn about who He is, build life-giving relationships, and make disciples right where they are. No matter what season of life you are in, we have opportunities for you!

‘Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.’ Proverbs 11:25

This is a great place to connect with women of all generations. We offer Bible studies, book clubs, Bible journaling, craft nights, conferences, and service opportunities. Every gathering is focused on knowing the love of Jesus and equipping us to live into our mission of making disciples in our homes, church, and world. Our hope is to experience God’s peace and deep love together, leaving our souls refreshed. Join the Refresh Women’s Ministry Facebook Group.

Wednesdays February 21 – April 3 • 6:30 – 8:00 PM • 6 session study • Chapel

Join Refresh Women’s Ministry in this six-session Bible study for all ages and stages Growing Slow  by Jennifer Dukes Lee where we will delve into the purposeful life of Christ. Together, we will discover an unhurried and simpler way of living that we were meant to live. No matter what season you find yourself in, this study will cause you to hit pause, dig deep into scripture, and soak in the hope of what is to come when God’s works in your life.

The Walk to Emmaus for Women is a multi-day spiritual renewal retreat that will help you grow as a disciple right where you are in your walk with Christ. The experience includes themes of God’s grace, disciplines of Christian discipleship, and what it means to be the church. You will have personal and small group reflection, special times of worship, and Holy Communion. The weekend is wrapped in prayer, and you will be supported by a sponsor who has attended a previous walk.
